Our mission is to “grow obedient disciples of Christ.” This is the task Jesus passed down to us. We plan for this task by building our ministries around a process. The process is outlined by the words LOVE, LEAD, AND LAUNCH. Our desire is to:
LOVE Jesus and share His love with others,
LEAD believers to membership in the body of Christ and maturity in the faith,
LAUNCH believers to be on mission for Christ.
We communicate this process through: worship, Sunday school (TEAMS), and short term small groups (CLASS). Our worship services are designed to exalt God, teach spiritual growth principles, and encourage service to God.
Faith Sunday school TEAMS provide a small group environment wherein we can live out the Christian life. The TEAMS follow the model found in Acts 2:41-47.
T= Teach the Bible (2:42)
E= Enlist and evangelize new believers (2:41)
A= Administer/assemble for fellowship and prayer (2:42)
M= Minister and do mission activities (2:44-45)
S= Shepherd the flock (6:1-4)
Faith CLASS (Christian Life And Service Seminars) provides short term (6-12 week) personal growth opportunities in a small group setting. These classes allow in-depth coverage of special interest subjects. A sampling of the topics is: prayer, women’s issues, marriage, finances, men’s issues, parenting skills, and spiritual growth.
Special note: We provide four short term foundational seminars that cover every aspect of our teachings. Each of these lasts approximately two hours. We ask that all members take these foundational seminars.
Class101: Membership- This calss covers our salvation, our values, our vision, our spiritual development process, our beliefs, our decision making, the Lord's Supper, baptism, and what it means to be a church member.
Class 201: Maturity- This class covers the spiritual disciplines of the Christian life
(Bible reading, prayer, fellowship, and stewardship)
Class 301: Ministry- This class helps you discover you SHAPE for ministry and find a place of service.
Class 401: Mission- This class helps you learn to share your faith and how to become involved in God’s world wide mission.
